  Re: walker that turns?

(...) <De-lurk> What about making the legs on one side take shorter steps? Seems like the Imperial Walkers were pretty clumsy beasts, and a slow-plodding turn like this would be appropriate. My $0.02... - Christian <Lurk> (25 years ago, 1-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Our Trip to the LEGO Store...

(...) I would like to say, for the record, that we didn't actually get lost. We just came back a different way then we had gone. And the stop at Wal-mart to look at a map was just to make sure we were going the right way (which we were). (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Top Ten Toys on A&E

<stuff deleted> (...) I'm glad you mentioned this Alan. I missed the program, but will catch a rerun. A&E has taken both barrels from dozens of LEGO fans posting their disbelief that LEGO was not in the Top Ten; even #1 in many people's opinion. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Castle returns for 2000!

(...) Mmmmm.... withholding judgement until I see the sets themselves. Not sure I care for that helmet, but they both look interesting... (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Millennium City - Princess Wharf

I've changed the pic on the rather spartan looking Millennium City webpage. This time it's a pic of an activity that's pretty common on Princess Wharf - Millennium Harbour. Design Notes: Millennium Harbour is to the west of City Central. Access is (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.town)

NELUG Star Wars Display in The Construction Site store window

Our Trip to the LEGO Store...

So my best friends Ben Roller and Michael Hader and I went to the LEGO store in North Georgia. It was a pleasnt two hour drive, my air conditioner broke but the temp was bearable. We looked around and found out a few things. Seems this actually will (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: My first DAT file!

(...) See my second model... posted to lugnet.cad.dat.models You may have to cut-n-paste the model out and look at it in MLCad though as LDLite gets stuck close to the end. I would really like to know what the issue is there... it makes me loath to (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Help needed reviving my HB

Hi Everybody, Ensio, I'm having a very similyar problem, but with an interesting twist! Check this out! I still don't have any idea what is going on here... None of these have expansion cards. I have 5 HB's from when this robotics class was taught 2 (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Engine Speed Regulation

Thanks for the explanation! (Wow, so it is really possible to explain how the steam engine works without using a single picture!) (...) This looks like the PWM (pulse width modulation) method RCX uses to control its motor powers. Why the steam (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.trains)
