(...) If you get error 8065006D at start-up, that means you have an incompatible QuickTime environment. Cybermaster will only run with Quicktime 6.4 or lower. It;'s NOT compatible with version 7 onwards. Lego Technical Support have confirmed this to (...) (17 years ago, 4-Jun-08, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

As well as using Windows95 Compatibility Mode, you also have to ensure you're running QuickTime 6.4 or lower (or you get startup error 8065006D). Cybermaster is not compatible with the latest (version 7 and up as at May 2008) versions of Quicktime, (...) (17 years ago, 4-Jun-08, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
