Re: The demise of the urban landscape

(...) Okay, Jonathan: I fly out to NYC; we rent a truck, take apart the layout, pack it up, drive to Dan's. Next day, we set it up, and then drive back. Long weekend; done. Might be fun, bro! :-) JOHN (17 years ago, 21-Oct-07, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Jonathan, Mike has a good point. You really cannot break up this work of art. It would be like auctioning pieces of the Statue of Liberty - your display is like a national monument! Not being "set up for moving" would not stop Dan, you should (...) (17 years ago, 21-Oct-07, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Track Designer and Wine/Darwine

(...) Bad form replying to my own post, but I figured out a way to make Track Designer work. I can ctrl click an object to select it (light it up blue). and then I ctrl+arrow to switch to the blinking cursor. It's not perfect, but it's better than (...)   Re: Weren't we all expecting this??

(...) Actually, that is an interesting article about a controversial article. The test that the magazine had done involved scratching off the plastic, heating plastic in a solution of nitric acid (this is a typical way a lab tests for lead in paint (...)   Track Designer and Wine/Darwine

So, I installed Darwine on my MBP, and I was excited, at first, to see that TD.exe worked. I've tried using it a bit, and I've discovered that using the mouse to select things doesn't quite work right. Ctrl Clicking selects multiple objects, and (...)   Re: New MOC: Legoland Spacelines 979

(...) Outstanding!! (When will it be released for sale...? ;-) Definitely spotlighted!! Minor concern: will there be any blue 1x1 sloping tiles left to buy on Bricklink? LOL. (...) Thank you John. Please encourage Ross to work more on robots, and less on that "other" thing you do. ;) Also have Ross try the simulator Philo posted. It works like a charm. (...) Hypercube? Nice link. Im going to try to make one of these. :) (...) (17 years ago, 21-Oct-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
