Re: Horseshoe Bend Rail Road - Rail Truck

(...) I haven't timed it but it does pretty good. Just about fast enough for something like this, probably equivilant to around a settling of 3 (of 8) on the 9V speed controller. Fast enough to move nicely and not be speeding - I would guess a scale (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: new MOC: experimental mecha X6-1 "Rail"

Hey Matt. I dig what you mean by architectural. Something about those arches. It definetly does have a light feel to it and I like the colors. This gives me the impression its like a rich man's decoration mecha that he shows off to guests in the (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Brick Testament in Metro newpaper

There was a short article on the Brick Testament in the free UK newspaper Metro of Friday 28th April. It featured the last supper and Adam and Eve (full frontal nudity in a national newspaper  ;-) ) Tim PS Brendan, would you like me to send a (...)   Re: Red lady mosaic

(...) Wow. ...wow. WOW! I've never even thought of doing such a thing! And I wouldn't have guessed what a huge difference it would make in the implied resolution. (...) Hoh, yes! You MUST! Are you sure it's possible? (...) Ah! You rock. It makes me (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: MINI Model No. 90!

  Re: Red lady mosaic

Okay, I just finished typing the tutorial. It's long. The first mosaics will be easy, but things will get comlicated in the end. If you have questions, I'm sure you'll know where to post them. These tutorials will be text-ONLY. It assumes you have (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  MINI Model No. 90!

Hello altogether! I'd like to announce my 90th Star Wars Mini Model. This time it's even one from Episode 1 which had slipped through until today, the Trade Federation AAT as seen during the Battle of Naboo. Here is the gallery with instructions: (...)   new MOC: experimental mecha X6-1 "Rail"

It's called an 'experimental mecha' because I didn't have a particular goal. I did intend it to be light, almost architectural. I was going for something like Soren's (URL) V siren> (I love that model!) but ended up with something... different. As a (...)   Red lady mosaic

(2 URLs) Brickshelf link> I like mosaics. I like SNOT. The unholy combination of these two resulted in what I'll call mixed mosaics. (anyone willing to devise a witty acronym is free to do so.) Anyway. The most basic mosaics are made with the studs (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: My Train Collection

You have some real nice models there, you have picked the cream of the crop of other peoples designs and matched them with some great ones of your own. The steamer has already been commented on but my eye was also drawn to (URL) and the red version, (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
