(...) it's perfectly safe to use and model railroaders used it quite a bit in the 50's however i would suggest using braided wire instead of solid core. from what i'm told braided wire has less DC voltage loss "or was it less resistance" over a (...) (20 years ago, 19-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains)
