| I just discovered a simple technique today for doing odd brick width SNOT, thus getting around the 2 in the 5:2 rule. I couldn't think of having seen it before so maybe it is new (although it seems unlikely). Anyway, I thought I'd share it since I (...) | (...) That got me too. When I first saw the 8285, my first impression was some photoshop gag. But then I checked out BrickLink and saw 8285 listed as a 2006 set(just the pic they have is tiny). | (...) Marco, you were correct. It was the rotational part of the joints that caused the collapse. Once I switched the joints around, they held the weight.
