Re: MOTM / SOTM Voting For December Is Now Open

(...) Yes that's exactly why. The way postnuke does user authintication involves generating an authorization key. Everytime you open a form it generates an auth key and when you click submit it passes the key along with the other form data. This (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: MOTM / SOTM Voting For December Is Now Open

(...) 800x600 isn't a hard limit on size, your entry can be larger. This doesn't mean you can submit a 8000x6000 image but 1024x768 is fine. The same applies for the 150k limit (however the rules wording on this point seems to imply differently so (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) snip (...) WOW, nice MOC(1). Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. I like the curves. The detail is nice too. Whats that detail called in spacer language? Chris 1. for something thats not a robot. (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: avoid messaging

(...) I'd agree that a physical block is the easiest, although there is a software solution. The RCX can not recieve a command while it's transmitting - so if you saturate the transmitter with things to do, it will not be able to "look" for any (...)   RE: avoid messaging

Yes, I indeed have an attachment which will act like blockage, but not a full one though. Sounds like this is the fastest and easiest to do. I fully understand the opcodes concept, as I myself wrote compile code before. However, these kids age only (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Curatorship of lugnet.org.us.michlug & lugnet.loc.us.mi

(...) I'll second that request. Peter having curator privileges would be great. As I recall, more than one person can be a curator for a group, so probably no need to remove me. -Jason Spears (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

  Re: avoid messaging

(...) If you have an event waiting for a message, I doubt it will have much impact on the speed of the rest of the program. However, this will not catch the messages you're looking for. You can't use the "mail" function to receive op-code, such as (...) (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: MOTM / SOTM Voting For December Is Now Open

(...) Could it be because I opened two tabs - one with each of the categories - instead of working sequentially? When I tried again now, I was allowed to vote in the SOTM category. Play well, Jacob (20 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
