Hi. I found this at a flea market today: (URL) a disc maybe 6-8" in diameter made of heavy canvas. The border is also quite heavy; it has something sewn into it (like a heavy cord or flexible wire) to weight it down, it seems. My wife decided it (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hmmm... I think this could possibly be used on something like the 8421 crane, now that we have proper pieces to fix two cylinders together. Since cylinders are cheaper and more plentiful (especially in Backhoes) this makes sense for use on (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

I think the trestles are directly buried in the ground on each side of the river, with rock in the ground being the support. I guess the timber wouldn't last (...)
