I thought of something else. I'm testing this thing with an RCX, and could it be that as the batteries get weaker the motor loses power, which makes stalls even more dangerous? (21 years ago, 9-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

I broke another 9V motor. See my (URL) post> for the first story. I'm building what amounts to a pitching machine for the Great Ball Contraption. Was out in the Winners at Bedford Place Mall (the one with the Zellers) this evening and noticed they have four of set 4548 Electric Train Speed Regulator (one of the only 9V train sets I haven't bought :) ) marked down to $18 each. I'm thinking about the next version of my one-armed robot, Grabot.
