Re: 8 Wide LEGO Thomas! (pics)

(...) Works for me. I actually thought about doing that when I saw them in the prerelease photos! But now that you have one in your hand, how does the size of the face compare to, say, a 4x4 radar dish? Rob (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.duplo)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Thank you, that means a lot. (...) yah, I have an interest in how Lego makes mecha. I think it's important because it shows us fans what kinds of restraints are on the designers. It's got to suck for them, I shudder to think what this mech (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Nominations for a trainset poll

(...) It might encourage more people to build to 8mm scale :-) Mark (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Nominations for a trainset poll

(...) Heh - I wish I had 40 hours a week to spend on Lego! Before I got married I scraped about 15 hours a week, but that was also before I spent time in online Lego communities! Still, at least my railway trackbed is progressing OK, despite me (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  8 Wide LEGO Thomas! (pics)

Well, my prayers have been finally answered (sorta:-) I had gotten into the habit of firing off an email to Brad Justus every 6 months or so when he was still heading up LEGO Direct begging for TLG to get a license for producing Thomas the Tank (...)   Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Absolutely stunning! I love the detail on this mech. The use of the red curved slope bricks is spot on. You've really turned building these types of mechs into an artform. On a slightly related topic, I would love to see your take on the Star (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Vampire Bat

(...) Very cool, Mark. It's greebtasticalicious. I particularly like the antennae pointing in various directions and the engines. You interior is cool too, except for that freak in the pilot's seat. (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: color and number

(...) I'm not sure what you mean by color and number. If you are looking for fan part numbers (which may not be the 'official' numbers used by the Lego corp), then my Visual Wheel Helper shows those: (URL) you are looking for Color Numbers as used (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Lego 7470 Space Shuttle Discovery STS 31

(...) I think the reference material you used may not have been accurate, it was indeed Shuttle Discovery that lofted the Hubble Space Telescope on STS-31. (URL) Kelly (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Warhammer IIIA

(...) Hey Mark, you blow me away every time. That thing is so cool. I can see the relation to Warhammer, but it's original at the same time. What are the pieces you used for the gun barrels? I never saw them before... Just keep it up man, your doing (...) (21 years ago, 6-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
