Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

(...) No kidding. Who were they trying to survey, people that are online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? :-P Jeff (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Poll: Did you complete the TLC questionaire?

(...) Thank you for your willingness to participate, however this study has been completed and is closed. So, I couldn't enter the questionaire. Perhaps TLC was afraid of actually having to pay up? /\/\ark "I hope that isn't the reason the closed" (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

(...) Same here. Why does Jake ask for 150 people before april 22nd, when the survey is closed on april 16nd already? Or where they getting too many negative answers? Now TLC will never hear my answers... /\/\ark "inquisitive minds want to know" de (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Poll: Did you complete the TLC questionaire?

(...) Hey John, isn't is supposed to be TLG, not TLC? Also, I'm curious how many lugnet members versus lugnet lurkers filled out that survey (see, I'm not a lugnet member...Hey Todd, who do I send some money to for membership?) -Scott Lyttle (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: On sale or not n sale

(...) Yes, I'm sure there is a language difference, but here in Sweden it's just like in Denmark: You are not allowed to say "on sale" unless you are selling a product that has been sold before at a higher price (The 'normal' price). The "on sale" (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.lego)

Conditional lines on sloped wedge parts 43720 and 43721

Wedge part 45407 (Wedge 4 x 4 with 1 x 4 Side Plates) has similar sloped sides as wedge parts 43720 and 43721 [LDrawPart 43721]. When I examined these parts in LDView, I noticed that the control points for the conditional lines on the sloped surface (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: best hummer out there

(...) I think the top and bottom lips are just standard jumper tiles and the grill itself is just 1x2 tiles, one on top of the other, laying on their side. The fact that the grill is exactly the same hight as the 2x2 circular tile headlights (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Directly connecting a digital camera module to the RCX

(...) Hi Philo, Merci beaucoup. I know this Elektor project (4/2002 German edition). Very well made! But, as I understand it, the communication speed might be too slow. However I'm not sure about this, because changing camera settings does only (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Directly connecting a digital camera module to the RCX

(...) Good reply. 1. The C3088 module allows framing, so we can reduce the data. 2. Why? Because we are in an educational environment, where the bulk is to teach how to program micro-controllers with the background thought that if the students learn (...) (...) When I click to take the survey, the site says, "Thank you for your willingness to participate, however this study has been completed and is closed." Did the survey really last less that 24 hours? (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)
