  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) I don't object to your viewpoint (I think it would be really great if it DID work like Cafepress), I'm merely pointing out there are other equally viable and (simpler) alternatives to the way the Lego Factory might function. Lego already sells (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Missing from your list is the second set with this number: (URL) #113 Complete Train w/ Blue Engine Set 1966 ALL There is a UK version of this set with UK-specific printed bricks. (...) There are two distinct versions of this set: (URL) also (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: AFOL clips

(...) DV is perfect, it's the one format I can eat into the NLE really easily. Shots of layouts, trains going around, robots smacking each other, people building, crowds smiling, would be perfect. Media appearances would be great too. The problem is (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Château de Vignette

(...) WOW!!!! How cool, I like the idea a lot. It looks great the way it all connected and the final model of the castle itself look great as is. Yaron "EyE RoD" Dori (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

In lugnet.trains, David Koudys wrote:> (...) Dave, I'm very interested to hear what you find out. From your pictures it appears that your box has the black and white logo with the 5 different size people. As far as I know, this logo was never used (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) It would be nice if LEGO never used the same set number twice, however that makes this fun. :) Eric (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) If I'm not mistaken I think my version of the USA castle actually says 6075 and 375 both. As a child this always intrigued me. I also checked recently and mine came with two of each visor included. I guess TLG figured we would lose these. Eric (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: If I were a minifig......

(...) Very cool. Just a thought though. If you're planning on having a party, shouldn't you do the kitchen next? Most good parties end up in the kitchen :) JB (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, FTX)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Hey Dave, Yes please let us know. While doing my research on old Lego sets, I sometimes find that USA and Canada have the same sets. Then other times Canada will have some sets the same as Europe, but they are not found in the USA. Then other (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Hi Ben, I would be more than happy to do so. Lego Trains are not my main area of expertise, so I sometimes will need a little help from my Train friends here. Especially "Train Language" :-) Gary Istok (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) I'm going to verify at home tonight, but I have the 103 with the box and I'm quite sure it didn't come from EU (URL) have a boo at the box as well as the instructions... Dave K <snip> (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) OK, I forgot #107. This is the Reversible Power Unit, available in USA/Canada during the same time that #102 was available in Europe. They are basically the same set. In the 70's another #107 came out that was an updated motor set. Gary Istok (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) OK, Here is a "teaser" cut/paste Train Info from my (still unfinished) Lego CD. (Still finishing up 1972-80 train info and 1949-56 early Lego sets). Enjoy Gary Istok P.S. Sometimes my years match the Lugnet DB, sometimes they don't. 1966-72 (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) (Snip) (...) Thanks Eric, for pointing this out. I just wanted to check, if 107 was from 1976 or 1975 and now I saw first time in my life, that set number 107 has not only used twice but three times. I never saw the samsonite 107 so far (which (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Fairmont Speeder, small track powed motorcar

(...) A correction to the above. The cars run off of 3 volts max, not 6 volts! And the rechargable device is not a battery, but a specalized capacitor.
