Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

(...) What, there's a stigma about Bionicle? I hadn't noticed. ;) (...) Wicked. This contest has brought out all the really great builders. This one's a contenda fer sher.   Re: Spectrum Catalogue Outlet store

(...) We drove up there last weekend...not a lot to report on. I think they have a few Mindstorms boxes and some Dacta classroom kits, but no bulk parks etc. They were willing to pull stuff out of their warehouse, but the particularly interesting (...)   Dino Attack: Militarization of LEGO?

Greetings, all: I've been lurking in this group for quite some time; if you remember me at all, it'd be for my ancient Hind gunship design back when that Soviet-helicopter craze hit out here. Anyhow, I'm back because I'm stunned by FBTB.net's (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

(snip) (...) Bryce, You always come up with the most interesting use for Bionicle Parts. Ever since seeing Tortured Soul in person, I've been in awe of Bionicle Part potential. You used 500 claws? Hey, I've got a bunch of black Onua claws. If you (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear

(...) David, these weapons and booster packs are great! You continue to build on your portfolio of maximum minimization. Most of the rest of us need way more weight, size and volume to get that kind of detail and realism. I predict these will be (...)   Re: Big Bionicle Model - "The Rack"

Wow! The best compliment I could give it is that I bet Giger would like it if he saw it. I read somewhere that he used animal bones and meat under the black rubber in the original Alien costume. Of course, they didn't have Bionicle back in '78, so I (...) (21 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) I doubt there will be a percentage royalty given to set designers if the Lego Factory is ever opened to the general public. That would be a paperwork/legal nightmare to implement.
