  Re: Rendering implementation details

(...) Actually, one can bring the number of transformations down to 1 for the entire _object_. Interesting what can happen when an idea sits in the brain and percolates for a couple of days. A new idea I had was to just transform the camera position (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Statues

Very cool statues, JoJo. Now are you planning a temple to put them in? (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Re: Bricksaic version 0.1.0

(...) Yes, I have some problems I would like added ;] This program is great! I especially like some of the cool effects you can get with the "Nearest colour" dither. My suggestion would be to allow the user to zoom out (for those of us planning (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: MOC 8436: Cranetruck

(...) That was from LEGOWorld, October 2003 in Holland. It was an automated car assembly line, consisting of RCX controlled work carriers that travelled from cell to cell across a number of cells. Each cell had a selection of parts that it added in (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: look at my balls

(...) Three completed: a 48x48 chain lift that has the balls cascade down a tilted baseplate, a 32x32 with a clock lift (noisy as all getout) that's got room to grow some, a 10x48 that allows the stream to be split if desired, as well as turned 90 (...)   Re: LEGO museum in Ohio?

(...) I too had the same dream but in a bit warmer climate. There used to be this old church for sale on Amelia Island in Florida that I thought would be a great location for a LEGO museum / shop. Of course I need to win the lottery or something so (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.general, FTX)

slightly OT, but yet another use for Legos

Sorry it's not a cool construction but maybe this will at least make you smile. The problem with photographing camera lenses (other than needing at least two to make it possible) is: how to hold the cylindrical but often lumpy or tapering lenses? (...)   Re: Sending Commands to Spybot from RCX - Question from a Beginner to Comm area.

(...) First of all, my apologies for not answering you via email. I've been a bit busy at work. I needed to run some tests myself before I could properly respond as well. The 0x9223 from the RCX happens to match the IR sent out by the Spybot (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: First LEGO League on My Local NPR Radio Station

(...) Hi, Actually it was a mistake with my program the actual size is about 17MB (for some odd reason the original file was two hours long...) Bryan B. (21 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)
