I was at a KB in a mall in Pittburgh a few weeks ago. While broswing the aisle a clerk ask I needed help, so i asked if they had Lego. She said only KB stores in strip malls and standalone shops carried Lego. Disappointed, I left the store. Was (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Well they got sold there first and LEGO USA puts the new catalogues in the sets earlier, probably when they first get them - I suppose it's because of the US Shopper's impatience - just look at their Star Wars fans for example - many of the (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

The GMLTC has urgent need for a few (40-50 or so) Belville baseplates. These are the huge (24 x 24 studs, I think) brick high plates that have a quarter circle taken out of them and a separate quarter circle plate. They were made in lots of "lovely" (...)
