good idea. but any cad model that uses a piece in a color it does not come in should be excluded from other catogries. anyway what i really ment is can people use ldraw parts that have not been released in an update yet? (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

I think all points should be discussed in a committee. No pun intended. I think any piece could be used as long as it was produced in at least some color. In terms of printed pieces, the same thing goes, any color is fine as long as the design was (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
