Re: Story crafting (was Re: Please read this!

(...) My apologies with the rather tenuous response. My family gave me a little ten minute ultimatum on the computer, so I was pressed to write the reply rather hastily. :) (...) Nah, conventional fantasy is *way* too repeated. Maybe I should (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: What's the big deal about the Mini TIE?

(...) Why were Chicken Elmo, Ticket Me Elmo, Patch Pack Kids, Care Bares and a whole slew of other toys so sought after. IMO two simple reasons. 1) Low Quantity 2) America is CRAZY and in the case of the mini Tie on more 3) NOT FOR RETAIL SALE As (...)   Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project: Onion-wing Fighter

That's actually very cool! Nice parody. ;) But besides the obvious big white onion, the color scheme, the slopes, and the cockpit nicely all nicely blend together, making for quite an effect. The big weapons also fit nicely. Can't wait for the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Outlined part edges in L3P?

(...) If you're gonna do optional lines then it'll only look correct when viewed from one direction. This means you can apply the standard cheat to solve the problem with cutoff cylinders on concave edges. Push all the edge cylinders toward the (...)   Re: Table skirts

(...) Agreed. I think that's what it should be for, especially in our early stages. (...) I agree - dark/hunter green being my preference for now since it's quite complementary to LEGO dark green, with black second choice. (...) I've appraoched some (...)   Re: Sterling MOC Three

Wow! More great surreal MOCs. I like the little 'prototype' ship alot, all the machinery makes for a cool effect- sort of looks like the early steam ships, with all that machinery. But what is it a prototype of? It would be cool if you made a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.space)

What's the big deal about the Mini TIE?

Just wondering, I received my Mini TIE today, and for such a small scale it looks fairly good. But what's so great about it????? Why would anyone pay thirty bucks for this??? I'm not a large Star Wars fan (I mean, I don't drool over a poster of (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
