Some questions and comments (but no complaints) on the new Orient line

Hey y'all, I was looking at all the new Orient sets at legoshop.com and I must say I'm impressed. The first three mini-series didn't interest me (especially Dino Island -yuk) but this series really jumps out. I'm planning on buying all of them once (...)   Re: LPub 2.1.0.3 released

(...) Yes, I plan adding -co for orthographic camera with automatic camera positioning. But the orthographic camera has changed in PovRay 3.5, and it is playing games with me. Perhaps I'll use the command "version 3.0" to overcome my trouble... (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst)

  Re: SW MiniBust-- Imperial Stormtrooper

This is really neat. Not only did you make an amazing creation (uncanny likeness at such a small scale; well done sir!), but you have potentially created a fad. I can see this one booming off like some others. Cool. -Chris Also, gotta agree with Gil (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: flame sensor

(...) Lego actually make an 'official' temperature sensor. I guess that in combination with the light sensor, you'd be able to detect a candle flame. The biggest problem may be how to get the temp sensor close enough to the flame to unambiguously (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  2nd wave m-wings ship tomorrow

I'd like to apologize for the delay on these. They were supposed to be out this friday but I ran into some problems at my not so local post office. I also wrongly sent a ship notice to 3 of you. Here's a picture to let you know they're all good to (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Guess I'm due to read Tolkein's works, then...when writing the dialogue, I attempted to reveal the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  Re: flame sensor

Just a quick thought, I was thinking that using both the light and temperature sensors might be the way to go. Let the robot search or seek the brightness of the flame with the light sensor. Then if the value is true, measure the heat with the temp (...) (23 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: Mighty Mech

(...) Hi Chris! Hmm, interesting view. (...) Hey nice compliment! (...) As long as I make dinner, do the dishes, balance the bills, paint the house, and be a sweetheart. I can build. Althought I used up my quota! To tell the truth, I enjoy making (...) (23 years ago, 22-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
