(...) How did the board read the barcode label? What equipment/algorithm was used? I've been screwing around with a train, and haven't really had any luck with reading a barcode from the track as it passes over. --- Chris Osborn FozzTexx Enterprises (...) My first scratch-built HamdyBoard has passed all of it's tests and is up and running. I've only been looking for something like this for about twelve years, so I'm REAL happy. I especially appreciate the emphasis on both hardware and software (...) (27 years ago, 18-Feb-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I'm just wondering, is the "charge" LED supposed to come on on the I/C board when you're running code on the Handy-Board? I don't think it should, but I'm not sure. Thanks, Rob O' Neill (27 years ago, 17-Feb-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Sure did. I used a ceramic disk capacitor... Hope that was okay to use. I just can't find what the problem is with the ranging board. For all I know, it has never worked.
