| Well, further experimentation revealed that the chips are working, but with a quirk: If the the input of the '232 (pin 10) is tied to ground (pin 15), then the output (pin 7 of the '232, or pin 3 of J9) goes to the expected value of ~+10 volts. | The best places are the mail order hobby stores. They have the widest selection of servos and very good prices. The two I recommend are Tower Hobbies (www.towerhobbies.com) and Hobby Shack (www.hobbyshack.com). Either of these sells servos cheaper (...) (27 years ago, 1-Aug-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| hi! Does anyone know of a good (prefferably cheap) source for servos? The hobby shops nearby seem to be pretty steep in their pricing.
