| | Re: pressure sensors... antistatic foam
|
| A viable option, depending on what sort of pressure is involved, is to put a thin piece of conductive (ie. antistatic) foam between two metal plates. The resistance between the plates ends up being roughly proportional to the pressure applied. It (...) (28 years ago, 9-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| What you can do is just like the schematic for the built-in IR emitter circuit. You need to either software generate your wave or do it like the schematic. If software generated, this output would come from a output port on the HC11 to a transistor (...) (28 years ago, 9-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| James, You can get Forse Sensing Resistors, and you can use strain gauages, but I find the easies thing is to make a bag or balloon of the shape you want, connect a tube to it, and use a small air pressure sensor. These are very cheap and readily (...) (28 years ago, 9-Apr-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
