Hmm, it is not space. Well at least I've not seen it in a Space set. It is from a Technic Flex System Set. See it in the 5118 service pack: (URL) are common in technic aircraft sets - as they can be used as control cables, I think there is a (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.space)

The greasyness of new bricks is something that is a bit annoying to me. My skin seems to be sensitive to the grease, and after sorting a large quantity of LEGO elements, my hands always feel itchy. (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)
