  Re: My pirate lexicon.

Aargh, Glad you like it, lassie. When I be aboard the Mornin'star, I be known as Captain Mordecai Blunderbus. As I'm a reformed pirate o' sorts, I've replaced the old skull and crossbones with a white smiley face 'n bowtie. Sure and certain, from a (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.pirates)

  Wing Element Question

Hey y'all: Does this element appear in black in any sets? See: Wing 12 x 9 (Exploriens) (URL) in advance, -- Richard (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Some more MGLM Mecha

Wow. That mecha is JUST SO COOL! I love the kegs, they look great. Excelent design.   Re: New Set Availability at US S@H

(...) Yes--the design of the actual models is pretty good (although I do have issues with the stegosaur's plates being *raised*--they probably laid pretty flat, if John McLoughlin is correct--and the Triceratops frill not being attached to the (...)   Re: Some more MGLM Mecha

Awesome as ever Dave. I really like the grey and red color scheme. It took me a few moments to catalog all of the differences in the two models and as a result I noticed a lot of details i might not have seen otherwise. Pat J P.S. I'll be posting (...)   Re: Old LEGO

(...) Wow, you're right Kevin! I was looking at the cover of one book while looking at the inside pages of the other - "The Ultimate LEGO Book" is indeed the book I referenced. I couldn't find Henry Wiencek in the white pages, although I think he (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

(...) "No, not 'aargh,' it's 'aaaaaaarrrrrrr.'" (Not "ooo!" as in Surprise or Alarm) sorry, had to. (...) You may also want to note that "Captain" is usually said "Cap'n." Vowels in unstressed syllables tend to drop out in the debased Midlands that (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.pirates)
