There used to be many sets (like the 12V train sets) that you couldn't get in the US that were available in Europe. I haven't known this to be the case lately. I'm planning on going to Europe soon. Does anyone know if there are sets I should watch (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

OMG! You'll never believe this! TLC's official site is ACTUALLY NORMAL!!! No flash on the front page! (...) NO! It's not! It's not actually "open to the public" in the usual "open house" sense, like a library or a state university computing center. The PNLTC tables aren't too bad to make once you have the jig for the holes. I just have the guys at Home Depot cut the top wood for me (3/8 particle board for the NGLTC), their saw makes a much nicer cut the I can do on the driveway with my (...) (26 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
