Dude, you rock! These, as usual for you, are great. (...) Try more light and multiple light-sources. Something I've had some limited success in photographing scale models with is using the cheap-o aluminum reflectors with photo bulbs in them -- (...) (...) The 'official' adapter, is 10VAC, 0.7A. I have seen one person who blew the rectification bridge, and he simply replaced this himself ((it was an old unit).
