The North Georgia LEGO Train Club (http://www.ngltc.org) will be displaying a layout at the Flowery Branch 2001 Fall festival, in Flowery Branch Georgia (http://www.cityofflowerybranch.org) on September 15th. We will be hosting our display inside of the town's renovated train depot. "The Flowery Branch Depot is in the Piedmont Division of the Southern Railway System. It is located 1 mile south of milepost marker 594 (594 miles from Washington, D.C., Union Station)." This will be a smaller layout than normally presented at most of our larger train shows, but should be no less the fun, just means we get to pack more detail into a smaller area. I've had a few people write me and ask if this event is still being held this weekend, and yes it is. The weather is supposed to be nice so give your eyes, mind and heart a break from the news and come out and enjoy a nice small town festival. jt (...)
