FYI, This person is also danaubin147 over at http://save.9vtrains.com

For example his MMA engine is featured here...

Personally, if I could get the decals for the State of Maine boxcar...  I would
buy several!  Great Work.

If you go to
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/dan-147/LDD-Creations/text_decals.txt he says
he hopes to produce decals, given enough interest

Yes, I agree, too...

Ooooo.... Detailed 7-wide North American locomotives! (General Electric B39-8E according to Dan’s Factory entry.) Done with the Factory parts assortment, no less.

I like the dark grey one. If you open the doors he’s even got a detailed engine/generator inside. Downloaded the LDD file and it looks good to me even without the stickers.

I’m very tempted to order one of these. $70 isn’t too bad for 660 pieces. I’d probably modify it and remove Engineer Charlie, maybe even figure out the parts to use a motor and leave out two of the wheelsets. I can compare and see if the cost savings are worth it. That is if I have any cash left after X-mas to buy anything at all... ;^)

If only the current Factory parts assortment had a way to order the flex tubes needed to do the hand rails. I can see he put the clips in place to add some sort of hand rails, although it looks like you’d need more than just flex hose. I’m curious if anyone can cite an example of a hand-rail construction that would be compatible with this? Also curious in general if someone feels they found a clever way to do hand rails for hood units without flex hose and sticking to the Factory palette?

Dan-147, whoever you are, you rock! And if anyone does buy one of these, please post a review.
