The Southern Pacific LEGO® Train Club (SPLTC) is pleased to announce our upcoming appearance at the 89th National Orange Show at the Orange Fairgrounds in San Bernardino, California.  Our club members have busy designing and building a new layout to display this year.  We decided to return to the era when Steam Engines were King!  So what better era to recreate and depict than one centered on life as it was in the Old West.  Life was different then, but we are still able to recapture a great deal of it in a layout which is approximately 12.5' x 20'.  Featured in our layout will be many Steam Engine Locomotives (including some finely detailed custom MOC’s) and rolling stock reminiscent of those times.   Besides trains, you’ll also see:

• An “Old  West Town” circa the late 1800’s
• Horse drawn wagons & corals
• Passenger train station and water tower
• Working round house
• A fort complete with Calvary troops
• Multiple bridges over deep gorges

If you are in the southern California area over the Memorial Day Weekend, be
sure to stop by and see our all new "old west" layout.  It’s a layout that you
won’t want to miss.  And while you’re there, there are lots of other things to
do while visiting the National Orange Show at the NOS Events Center in San
Bernardino (located off the 10 or 215 freeways at 689 South "E" Street, San
Bernardino, CA 92408, for driving directions, click here:
http://www.nationalorangeshow.com/directions.htm.).  For those unable to visit
the display in person, we’ll be making an announcement as to when pictures of it
have been posted on the internet.
