Hi Horst,

I have, inspired by John Neal of whom you've already heard. I've only built the
one boxcar though, shown here;

http://www.KMaynesPaint.com/Pages/Subsidiaries/Sub_LGnRB/14W.html

I've since bought a stick of track for it to sit on, and replaced the grey
1x8's with brown.
It's also spent a good chunk of a train show as part of a consist on a
largescale layout. Now that was pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Cheers,
KMaynes

Hello, has anyone ever tried to build a train that has a larger gauge than the usual L-scale (be it 6, 8, or even more studs wide)? Obviously, such trains could not run on LEGO track, nor use standard LEGO train motors and wheel sets ... Greetings (...) (22 years ago, 5-May-03, to lugnet.trains)
