Hi Horst,
I have, inspired by John Neal of whom you've already heard. I've only built the
one boxcar though, shown here;

I've since bought a stick of track for it to sit on, and replaced the grey
1x8's with brown.
It's also spent a good chunk of a train show as part of a consist on a
largescale layout. Now that was pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
