Hey all!
I'm prety sure this is the first public announcement of this news. I haven't
seen it anywhere else, anyway.
I was cruising the Web, looking for information on the McDonald's Bionicle
promotion (I promised to get multiple sets for Jaap from Club Bionicle NZ,
so I have to make multiple big runs), when I ran across this blurb.
It is from http://www.legowritingsystem.com which seems to be down at the
moment. I took this text (but couldn't get any pictures) from a cashed page
on Google.
I know I'm probably shooting myself in the foot here by announcing it, but I
doubt I could find/get enough to satisfy any requests anyway.
Here's the news:
"Beginning in October, 2001 we'll be introducing an exciting new pen series
based on BIONICLE, the brand new line of action figure toys from LEGO. Each
pen will feature a specific BIONICLE action figure characterized by specific
elements of nature. Check out the new bead elements, Toa Masks and pen stand
included with this pen series. Look for BIONICLE under our Products section
on this site for more information. Find the power!
Limited Edition
BIONICLE Pens at participating McDonald's! That's right. Beginning
September, 2001, a Limited Edition BIONICLE pen will be available only at
participating McDonald's in southern California! "
Is that way cool or what? I can't wait to see these...please post pictures
if you find anything.
