Didier, thank you for this knew info.

Sadly, I have a feeling I think I now need to start to horde my old technic axle joiners.

I can understand the monetary reasons for the new part - ease of mold release, mold manufacture, and “undercuts” and such, but I can still sigh.

Regards.

Okay, at first look of this part, I was thrilled, but mainly because I’m not a hard core technic builder, and often I prefer form over function.

At second look, and some consideration, I was bummed, because I hate the idea of losing function for reasons that does not improve overall usage of the product.

At third look, I became enraged (well as much as I can muster for a toy) for anyone who loves a conspiracy, this is just proof Lego does not like female customers, no longer ribbed for her pleasure.
