| | | | | hi,
this is my first 3 legged creation.
it just kind of rolls forward,
it starts whit 2 legs at the ground and one in the air,
it wil flip the leg how's in they air to the front (to set his wait on his front
foot)
then it flips his frond feet so the back leg is lifted in the air and the leg
how was in the air takes plase in the frond of the robot.
now it starts over again :)
i bild it whit small pistons to make it a small MOC 2 pistons is just the edge
and just a bit to less but it works. but if i do a rebild on this one it gonne
uses at least 3 pistons a leg.

Cool! This looks a bit like the "Triskelion", the 3-legged symbol of the Isle
of Man: http://flagspot.net/flags/im.html
Quite a different style of tripod! Should be good over rough terrain too.
Have you tried making one of those little dogs that does a back-flip? I was
wondering whether Lego pneumatics has that amount of power.

thanks :) iff never seen this symbol, where stands it for?....

to be honest i've never seen a tripod before and thoght it was a cool consept
i was thinking about a other tripod how starts whit 3 legs at the ground
standing in a triangle, lift one leg up, flips his total body and plase his feet
at the other side of the 2 legs how are already at the ground, now hi should
start whit a other leg and repeat itself :)

i dont know what kind of dog you meen, but if it needs to jump its gonneby a
real challenge, pneumatic only is to slow i guess, maby you can use springs how
get presurised whit pneumatic and be released whit a quick release mechanisem.

The Isle of Man is a small island off of Ireland.
Here is a link for a brief overview of triskelion. It is a triple spiral, in
Celtic culture representing the sun, the afterlife and reincarnation.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! Tracing my father's lineage backwards gets
you to the Isle of Man. Maybe you could tell because of my rather direct form
of communication. :^)
