I finally uploaded pictures of my second Inchworm.  This is exactly the same
geometry and circuitry as Inchworm (
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=447935 ).  It is just done with
better color choices, and tidier pneumatic hoses.

Inchworm walks by undulating its body. It has 7 segments to its body, separated
by six pneumatic piston actuators.  The walking mechanism sends a compression
wave down the body, making the body look like it has a sine wave traveling
along.  It is totally pneumatic, and needs only compressed air to travel.

This MOC made its first appearance at BrickFest2004.
