Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends....
A new PCS craft has just been deployed. In this report well show the 1/B
configuration of the AGENA medium size cruiser. The 1/B is a fleet support
craft designed to compliment the
Vanguard class cruisers
or to be the main craft in a smaller attack fleet utilizing the
SMAC.
She is quick and agile for a ship her size. The 1/B config has side FRAP
cannons with 2 rapid fire micro Fraps, also 1 new Type 2 FRAP rifle on top with
2 mini FRAPs on the side. (shes fulla FRAP). The 1/A configuration will be
published later when all scanning and recon equipment are declassified (ya ok,
so I aint built the science pods yet... but I gots a plan.) Pre mod:
Side,
Rear, and
Nose
Many pictures are being declassified. When secured please view them and reply
with comments: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=107621
Notes:
Thanks to Mark Sandlins Aces High for
inspiration (twas he who started the paradisa window craze) also DP9s
Thunderbolt. This was
a long build... dunno why. The rear of the craft is not done to my liking
but I was ready to get it finished and published, and the greeblies are kinda
bland (oh check out those dinky PCS landing gears!). I hope ya like it though!
Im gonna be outta the MOC business fer a while... Life is catchin up to this 33
year old I guess. With a Baby Admiral on the way (yes, you heard it here folks :-D) and much happenin
with the church work, building time is gettin difficult to find. The 2005 PCS
season will be a little light ;-) space too ya!

| (...) I really like this, Chris. It portrays the feel of a support ship very well, in my opinion. the aprt I like the most on it is the very large guns for the size. Very scifi-cool. I can really see this as a pest for the Korolev-Type frigates1 (...) (20 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

No joke....the shape and exterior greebling is wunderspacey as usual, but I think the interiors of this have really shown your yet further evolution as a hated, despisingly excellent builder, you cad, (...) | (...) Chris, This is an excellent extension of the fleet! It has that constant PCS-Giddens style beauty and simplicity, but detailed and complex. I agree with Rick - this definately looks like PCS's tactical responce to the (URL) Zhukov> and (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Chris, This is totally the cat's ass... (can I say that?) I *love* your designs and that cockpit/bridge is my favorite ("Aces High" is one of my favorite Sandlin ships too - I'm totally ripping you guys off at some point). I've been working on (...) (20 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

| This is AWSOME. I really like the feel of the craft being smooth but also greebled (or else its just smooth greeblies). I always like the look of the PCS guns against a the blue and white. It makes me want to go out and fight for JUSTICE. I also (...) (20 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| Again, spectacular stuff, Chris!! Wonderfully organic design that's excellently well-balanced in details and smoothness. The trio in the forward cockpit is not only a great little package but look at the visors in this pic: (URL) camera and hands (...) (20 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

| (...) (Y'know Karn Evil 9 would make a good name for a large (non-pcs) ship...) Thanks for the flashback. But the ship, oh the ship. Brilliant as always, Admiral. | Very nice. I'm especially fond of the interior detail -- realistic looking environment for control and engine room stuff. BTW, don't let Baby Admiral be too much of a hinderance. I've got 3 boys and I'm only at 31. Mind you, I'm lucky to get out two (...) (20 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
