I've heard talk of this evil around here for awhile, but I've never seen one,
until now. It's... the Space Hippies! Both are powered by insidious free-love
drives.
First up is their one-man fighter craft, armed with 3vil flower power cannons,
and freak-out rays.

Next is a shuttle, the space love-bus, complete with party lighting, lava lamps,
a matress in the back for crashing.

Seriously, I heard people talking about space hippies here and there, and
decided to make some over my winter break. Today was a snow day, so I found the
time to take some pictures and make a post. I'm mostly a lurker, but am trying
to get more active in the community. I hope people like em, or at least get a
good laugh. I'm particuarly happy with how the doors on the love-bus came out.
I also built a space cadillac for some g-men.

Please let me know what you think.

| (...) I saw this stuff on brickshelf. It made me laugh. It's not quite 3vil, but it's definitely anti-establishment. I think perhaps the Space Hippies might have some things in common with the Eastern Block... socialism and communism and other isms. (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Have you ever notice how nature-loving hippies never seem to use anything that runs on pollution-free solar-power? (...) That's the finest nonviolent fighter craft ever made! (...) Aha! They're not _real_ hippies! They're hippie-wannabes! As (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)

| Dan, Outstanding. Great use of the Clickits elements to built a fun theme. I especially laughed, though, at this shot: (URL) expression on the G-man's face is priceless. Bruce (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.space)

| (...) These are great- I've thought of doing a space hippy line, but it looks like you've beat me to it. That fighter thing is really nice- the flower look of those blades are ingenious, yet those laser thingies makes it look like it means business. (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
