Thank You, Rob, for your quick response.
Judging from the two comments I've received, I should have elaborated a bit.
I wanted to use a relay to switch the other circuit, but the it wasn't
exactly clear to me what specifications the relay should have, and if and
what diode would be needed to connect the coil (of the relay) to the RCX's
9V motor output.
Since I'm not an electronics expert, I'd like a circuit drawing and some
illustration to go with the instructions.

| Use the output (A, B, or C) to turn on the relay (you can pick those up at Radio Shack or wherever).
