Hey guys-

Do any of you know the shelf life of an RCX brick? The reason I ask is because I
recently took mine out (I just openned my mindstorms set, 2-3 years after it was
bought), and it isn't working. If any of you could help me I would appreciate
it.

(...) It appears to be broken. I will buy it for $50. But only because you can't use it anyways. You can keep the bricks and the tower. Unless the tower doesn't work. Also, some of the bricks might not work either. I'll buy them too. Ralph (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

According to Google this - (URL) - has something to do with shelflife ... and ketchup, of course. Hope that answers your question. And now for an obligatory link to a Penny Arcade strip: (URL) <vineethonkan@yahoo.com> wrote in message (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I don't know why they all mock you... anyway what exactly "isn't working"? Do you mean that after installing all 6 batteries correctly and pushed the red button, it didn't beep? (21 years ago, 3-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
