I got a little curious what Aussie railways were like and did some searching.  I
saw an interesting logo on the Australian National Railway that I thought was
cool, so I copied it, with a TALC twist:

If that's from the logo like on this loco
http://locopage.railpage.org.au/bhp/why_dh.html that used to be the logo of
BHP - "The Big Australian", back when it's main business was still steel.
But I see no reason not to use it for a LTC (specially with your twist)!!

I got the name wrong (just "National Rail), and here is their logo which I had
had in mind when I did mine:
