I work with a guy whose last name is Hunter. For some reason he recently
started a facetious campaign calling for his own demise. Specifically, he's
been signing emails with a "Death to Hunter" byline, and he's encouraged us to
do the same. We've adopted the pseudo-leetspeek DTH2HNTR! shorthand to make it
more farcical.
I'm 100% certain he's not suicidal or self-destructive, and I know for a fact
that this is just a weirdly amusing little diversion for us 'round the office.
In practice, it has a kind of "Down with Bush" or "Impeach Clinton" kind of
campaign vibe, so we've naturally jumped on the bandwagon with great enthusiasm.
Let me underscore that we are not actually calling for or endorsing his death.
