Scott is guilty of many sins, too many to list actually, but that particular
observation (that historically, it's went better for you if you're white and
well off than if you're not) wasn't racist, per se.
If it were, why then, pointing out that many police departments seem to have
an excessive problem with DWB(1) incidents would be racist too, right? I
will so point out, and you may in turn label me racist if you like.
I admit to being of two minds about it because I do support profiling, to an
extent, but also don't like hearing about DWB.
To David K, do you have a cite on that GR thing? I believe it I just want to
read more. It should be noted that school district boundaries matter only to
school district elections (millage, school boards etc). Other boundaries
(where your state rep is, etc.) are semi independent.
So I'm not sure I agree that this is a gerrymandering example per se.
