The operator of The Auction House in Sacramento, California, USA emailed me
notice of an upcoming live auction to be held July 7. Here is part of the
email I received:
Hi" We are" The Auction House" in Sacramento CA. On July 7th we are having
an Auction that will include over 250 lots of LEGOS from the 70's, 80's
and 90's , all boxed most mint in box. Expert Builder, Technic's, Train
sets from America and Germany. Many Theme: Aquanauts , Knights Castle,
Star Wars, Mtron, Blackttron, Space system, Fabuland, Town Systems,
Dragon Master and many more. I am not sure how to post something of
this nature with you. We have a huge amount of pictures on our web site
www.theaucshunhouse.com and we do take email bids, will ship, and take
all forms of payment.

contract, and the absentee bidder form. This information will allow anyone to
place bids via email (and Telephone??). Follow the Link below. The files

been converted into three differnt formats for easy viewing/downloading.
The auctions are scheduled to begin at 10 AM California Time on July 7. I
believe that all bids must be submitted before that time so that they can be
processed in time for the actual bidding. Remember that these are live
auctions and you will be bidding against bidders who are at the auction site
as
well as others who have submitted email bids.
Hopefully this work work smoothly for anyone who bids via email. Good Luck.

Excellent--thanks for reporting that. I am glad all the messages I posted and
the emails I sent back and forth helped someone out. I wanted to bid on a few
things myself--especially sets 733 and 383 but extreme lack of funds
prohibited
this.
I have asked The Auction House to give us more lead time before the next batch
of auctions. Hopefully they will. They had a ton of excellent Lego items
this
time and I cringe when I think how much of that was likely bought up by some
Ebay profiteers. I guess we might see some of these MIB items appear on Ebay
soon (but I probably won't be looking).

Yeah, some of the items were REALLY nice... I wonder how much those items
went for? I tried to submit some bids via email (and I'm in Canada), but I
didn't get any response so I guess I didn't win anything.

I'll try calling them tomorrow to see if I can get a listing of the lots and
the winning bids. If I explain about LUGNET and how this information could
lead to increased bidding in the future, it might work.

I felt kinda sorry for the guy who won Mos Espa, don't know how long he'd been
there but I think the only thing he won was that and the other four little SW
sets.
And I assume you think it was the Blacktron lot that went kinda cheap? Then
you'll be glad to know it went to a good home-- mine! :D
BTW the BT1 lot was the first LEGO lot and third overall while the SW
lots were the last LEGO lots auctioned, so that could have had something to do
with the prices.
