Is anyone interested in splitting this lot with me? I'd be interested in a
few of these boats, but really don't need 8 more (I already have 3 6278s).

Are these Scott's own devising or are these from some set (I am not a
pirate expert...)?

Scott, if the former, why all in one lot? This seems prime territory for
a small kit with LDrawn instructions, etc, sold in lot size of one, 8
lots...

As Frank indicated, they are from some 6278's See:
http://nt1.pncl.co.uk/huw/view.asp?ID=736&r=1

The boats are the same as those in the 6278 minus the 2*2 gray/black turntable.

I thought the turntables might be missing. You might want to add a note
detailing this. It wouldn't affect what I'd pay for them (much) but it might
be a problem for someone else.
