Brick Bazaar Announcement
BrickFest PDX in Portland, Oregon, USA is only 2 months away, February 13-15
2004! Now is the time to mark your calendars for the Brick Bazaar and Set
Auction at the event! Go to www.brickfest.com and register for BrickFest PDX,
then send me an email at mattchiles@gorge.net to reserve table space if you
would like to participate in the Brick Bazaar.
The auction will be silent, followed by live. Please let me know by January
30th how many items you anticipate putting in the auction.
The Brick Bazaar will be limited by space available. Requests for space will be
taken until January 30th on a first-come, first-served basis, for either a full
or 1/2 banquet table. We anticipate having space for approximately 10 tables.
Skirting will be provided.
Tables for the Brick Bazaar are free, but BrickFest requests a donation of LEGO
items (sets, pieces, etc) for door prizes for those using a table. Your
donation can be based on the volume of sales you anticipate.
Electricity will not be available at tables. If you requires power for some
reason, please ask when you request table space and we will try to accomodate.
There is no sales tax in Oregon and no state business liscense is required. If
you have a table as a "business", you may need to have a business liscense from
the City of Portland. BrickFest will not be responsible for providing such
liscenses, but we will forward information to table sellers as it becomes
available.
PLEASE NOTE - Competition to the Brick Bazaar: BrickFest anticipates having a
local retailer offering the current line during public show hours (Sunday
afternoon). Also, we are working to possibly have some Shop at Home scratch and
dent merchandise avaiable for sale at BrickFest.
To register for BrickFest PDX, visit www.brickfest.com. To sign up for the
Auction or a Brick Bazaar table or if you have questions about these events,
please contact Matt Chiles at mattchiles@gorge.net.
