I was in my town today to search for some of the new 2004 or late 2003
LEGO-sets. Or just to see if I could be lucky and find anything on sale
after the christmas rush.

Found 2 boxes of 4107 (399NOK). I have one of these boxes from before and
like the contents and have been looking for this a long time.

And the fun thing was a hole bunch of bags with LEGO number 3258. I asked
one of the staff about those bags and she told me they got a HUGE box filled
with tousands of LEGO-pieces and had to fill that evenly into small platic
bags. The bags kost 49.50 NOK and is about 200-220grams of diffrent types of
pieces, non of the bags has indentical numbers of pieces or have the same
type of bricks in them. The ZIP-lock bags is white with small clear round
fields so you can se the contents of the bag easy.

I do not have a digital camera at this time, but will report later what type
of bricks and colors that was in those bags. But what I can see from the
outside there is a lots of difrent colors from pink, darkblue, brow, dark
red, orange (in difrent grades), white, diffrent types of greys and others.
The bricks is all types of bricks from minifig heads, wiggs, bodys and
feets. There is normal 2x bricks in difrent sizes and numbers. There are
wings, arches, slopes cones and even some technic plates in the bag I have
open so far, and a lot more.

I bougt 4 of thise bags, I will maybe go back to that store next week to buy
some more if I can see more good bricks in the other bags.

Has anybody else seen this type of bags before? If you have, what was the
price on them? 49.50NOK = 5.75 Euro = 7.23 US $ (at todays rate)

(...) I suspect these are the same bags that we saw at LEGOworld 2003; only there the price was 5 EUR per bag, and we could sort the bricks ourselves. Very cool. The only bad thing was the parts without match (ie, left wings without right wings), (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.no)

(...) This number, 3258, is printed on the bags I got at the 'bulk' sales of Lego here in Sweden before Christmas. Many toy stores had this setup: One or more *large* box(es) with mixed Lego pieces, you filled the bags yourself, psend any time you (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.no)
