I had a great evening at the pub.
I loved meeting a few new fans, and enjoyed all the chatting, sharing, and Lego
gossip. Perhaps, in hindsight, we didnt pick the best weekend to have a
meeting, due to the pending holiday. Sadly many people canceled at the last
minute or were just too busy to attend. You all were surely missed and we look
forward to seeing you the next meeting.
We all talked about our particular Lego interests, a few people shared Mocs, and
"new" or "hard to find" Lego items. We all shared little stories of how Lego
has been part of our lives and different events we have attended over the years.
We briefly talked about the focus of Whackalug, and what direction we would
like to see this group take.
All and all, it was a lovely evening, and before I knew it, the waitress was
announcing it was last call, and we had to paid our bills and head home.
I was thrilled to have met a few new fans, and look forward to our group
growing. Thanks everyone,
