We realise that there aren’t all that many BrikWars Generals in Australia that would be willing to show their ability (or lack thereof) in combat with the Royal Brictorian Regiment, and allied forces, but to those brave few we welcome the opportunity for you to prove the abilities of your forces and to get in extra training. therefore, we will leave the selection of battle conditions (within reason) to the brave challengers to show that we are willing to meet any force on their own terms.

I’ll have you know that the forces of Xavier Prime are more that happy to display their ineptness against your forces!

How about a domination style battle, capture and control areas?

For Brikwars games generally: the following are suggestions, but strongly recommended.
  • The Brikwars 2001 ruleset shall be the bible (see here).

  • The Inch shall be defined as 4 studs exactly.

  • The providence of the Hammer of Discipline (or equivalent) shall be the responsiblity of the host.

  • No stats, No play. Please have something useful written down

  • No scenery, No play. Please bring at least two 32x32plates of scenery

  • There should be a neutral observer, with control over the ‘what I say goes’ rolls, A final court of appeal whose decisions are law.
For the QBday Brikwars game, options: to be debated and decided on as appropriate.
  • Table points limit of 2000 points. (this should provide a game 3-4hours long, including setup/pack up) The breakdown of points per player depends on number of players.

  • Table a minimum of 6x4 baseplates. not necessarily plated, just a table of at least that size.

  • Tech level 5 (Space! Space!) max two TL6 items in army, costing 2xpoints)

  • Some kind of objectives other than “kill them all” (although that’s fun)

  • Players orgainsed into two ‘teams’ for ease of play.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. James (who needs to write up some stats for his army.)
