With the loss of Travis, I am reminded of the other people that I've lost over
the years that I was unable to tell them how much they were appreciated. So
many lost chances, too many 'if only's.
So as cliche' as it might be, I just want to say, while I its not too late, that
I love you guys!
My life would be so much less colorful if it weren't for Lugnet and all the
AFOLs of the world. I can't imagine what my life would have turned out like had
I not found this place. I'd like to think so far as to say Lugnet saved my life
from diving into the sins of excess that college life can bring.
So what I'm trying to say is that while I have the chance to say it, that I
appreciate you all. Every one of you help inspire me, and I want to say thank
you for everything.
Sure, there have been bumps in the road, but we've moved on, haven't we? We're
still a community... no... family. Yeah, that's what you all are to me, my LEGO
family.
Ok, I've said enough, I won't drag it out any further.
Thanks for letting me induldge.

My feelings exactly, take the time now, you may never know what may happen.
My mother; Ruth Sophie, always taught me to say "Goodbye" when you leave. Just
incase you never get a chance again. So, even if we are mad or angry at
eachother we know in my Family to say what you feel, because now is the time to
share your feelings and tell the people around you that you love them.
*hugs
:)

I second that. I thought I was a freak for many years, since through high
school, I never had a 'dark' age. I remember once the discussion that I still
play with Lego came up in AP art class in my senior yr. in High school. The art
teacher asked me what i'd do if my (hypothetical future) wife didn't like my
Lego hobby. I said somthing like "well, she'd hafta deal with it or get out!"
I would never really say/do that to anyone, I just wanted to get everyone
lauhing, which they did. Anyways, I didn't find other AFOL sites/Lugnet 'til
several years later, but when I did, I knew I wasn't a freak anymore (at least
not 'cause of the Lego! ;) ) I'm really glad I met you guys even if some of
you only online--I Love You Guys/Gals!

Depends on $ & vacation time. Previously i had worked at Wal*Mart (too crazy of
a scedule to go to meets), now I'm drafting for a new company, so I'll save &
try to get the time off. meanwhile, I'd like to get in the groove of going to
the monthly NELUG meets.
