LYNCH EXPLORES "HUMANACY" IN NEW FOX KIDS SERIES, GALIDOR

Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension - Fox Kids

What do you get when you combine stories about the magic of the human
experience with elements of fantasy? "Humanacy," says Lynch. "Our stories
have always been about the former but with Galidor: Defenders of the Outer
Dimension, we've taken our characters on an adventure with all kinds of
fantastical special effects...hence the new term I've coined to describe it."

Galidor integrates live action with cutting-edge animation and 3D
backgrounds. It follows the journey of adopted teen, Nicholas Bluetooth, a
seemingly normal 15-year-old whose world is turned upside down when he
learns that he was conceived in two dimensions. (His father is from Earth
and his mother is from the Outer Dimension.) He also learns that it is his
fate to unite those two worlds. In an attempt to fulfill his destiny
Nicholas straddles the two dimensions - only to find himself pitted against
the evil Gorm who has taken over the Outer Dimension for his own nefarious
purposes.

A stunning blend of reality and fantasy, Galidor is a coming of age series
about the greatest adventure of all - living. It debuts on Fox Kids in
January 2002.

...
Ken Katsumoto, Head of Family Entertainment in the U.S for CinéGroupe stated
that "GALIDOR: DEFENDERS OF THE OUTER DIMENSION is a thrilling dimension

and adventure," explains Ken Katsumoto. "CinéGroupe's long established
reputation as a leader in the production of award-winning animation, and its
burgeoning reputation as producers of quality live action, has firmly placed
the company in good stead to produce such richly visual programs" he adds.

"With GALIDOR: DEFENDERS OF THE OUTER DIMENSION, we're creating a new
entertainment category for kids and tweens, combining elements of fantasy
with stories about the magic of the human experience," says Tom Lynch. "With
CinéGroupe, we're integrating rich characters and storylines with riveting
special effects and 3D backgrounds. The result will be an exciting live
action/CG animation genre that will completely immerse the audience in a
whole new world."
