I'm looking for a program to keep track of what lego pieces I have (i.e: what
type, color & how many) AND what pieces are currently being used in constructed
models. (ran into the 'ARRRRRRRRRRGH' factor when I was looking for a 2x6 black
plate that I thought I still had at least one more of....). Anyone have
anything out there or should I just whip up something for myself using Excel?

How do I answer that. ...I currently work for the Inventory Control department at a manufacturing plant, so I have seen a few programs that would do the trick. ...However, they generally involve investing corporate sums of money and hiring (...)
