Those are 'Samsonite era' bricks.  When Samsonite was importing LEGO into
the United States, they also produced these.  Consider them an earlier form
of Duplo!

Too bad they don't connect with LEGO, or Duplo, or even 'Baby'...

I had never seen these before until now. Can anyone tell me what these are? An early Duplo perhaps? They are larger than today's Duplos though. (URL) put the grey 2x4 in for size reference. The person that gave them to me says he's had them for (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)
